How do you find the product or quotient of powers with the same base?

Product: when you have the same base, the bases stay the same and you add the exponents together
Quotient: When dividing terms that also contain coefficients, divide the coefficients and then divide variable powers with the same base by subtracting the exponents (exponents from the denominator from numerator)
