the sum of joe and angies age is 94 years. Angie is two years less than twice joes age. how old are joe and and angie?

Joe=x
Angie=94-x

94-x (Angie) = 2x (two times joes age) -2 ( two years less)
So....

94-x=2x-2
3x=96
X= 32

Joe= 32
Angie= 94-32
Angie= 62
