Simplify the second equation.

1/2y = -x + 1

Multiply both sides by 2

y = -2x + 2

Since both equations equal y you can set them equal to each other.

-2x + 2 = 3x - 1

Solve for X

-5x = -3

x = 3/5

Plug this into one of the equations.

3(3/5) - 1 = y

1.8 - 1 = y

y = .8

(0.6, 0.8)
